eBuzz-My two (cents, pennies, paise, shillings, you get the point) for the week will be a series with a thumbs up, thumbs down section which will lead many to pat my back and others to wanna break it. But nevertheless, this will continue on , back or no back, not witholding my honest opinions and critique and letting folks know how good, bad or ugly they really were.
Although the network invites and notes section of Sulekha were a little awry and the notifications added to the fun by playing the elusive game, it was quite another week at Sulekha blogs.
The Rah Rah's
Mr & Mrs Natarajan gained a son-in-law this week. Our heartiest congratulations and wishes to the family and blessings to Robin & Rumana. So here's to them
Dudho Nahao Phulo Falo .
Bilingual aka Spencer's post on the environment, economy, Olympics and Beijing was really thought provoking. Although I don't necessarily agree with him on accounts, I am hugely sold on Obama although I thought I would be a Hilary camper.
Yash Chabbra treads on enthusiastically with his express yourself series. Here is to him for being passionate enough to do this week after week
Svengali's book review has got the hypnotist a two thumbs up this week. Although the Subbu series is a personal all time favorite, this post and its dissertation has made it more interesting than ever.

MunaMallickgets the next set for his post he? you? or I? . Although the statistics were very impressive, I only wish it was written more non-statistically; with the layman in mind. Nevertheless for pointing out the obvious he deserves two thumbs up

Have always admired Anjana's style of writing and and her latest is a felicitous post that is a must read.

Three thumbs up to her for not turning the other way.
The Boo's
BigMojo seems quite unrelentingly and continues posting his stuff whether one reads it or not. While his passion is commendable , his posts have quite left the oomph arena and a dryness prevails around it. He has gone from Psych101 to whatever it is I can blog about, and for this he gets a
this week. C'mon guys you can do better than this, don't quantify when you don't have to. You'll soon give Sup a complex as well.
Another thumbs down to Chanchal47 for God's sense of humor. I think for once we should not shed our blames on others and for a change agree that the mess that the world is in is quite our doing. This not-so-satirical post deserves nothing less than
this week
The Hit or Miss
Although Blood Lime had a hit last week with his funny post, his love poem was a complete miss making him the first miss of this week.
DKV had a miss with his Flash post but he still deserves one for his series Nature notes from Mhow.
So here's a hit to him
Psst
This weeks creme-de-la-creme psst was already out in the open by Rama Rao ji's post. The second thing worth psst-ing is that I dig the new look of the Sulekhan homepage completely. But for what its worth would like to add that its really nerve wrecking to have them change the layout time and again. Change is inevitable and cyclical but does it have to really change this many times. If it ain't broken why fix it ?
As I was writing this Vishwanathan's post crept up and have to say all the way from the start to finish it was a fine, humorous, well written post filled with satire. I loved every bit of the read and

three thumbs up !! to the B-ilicious post.
That leaves nothing much to psst about except that we will soon have our next in line series unveiled by Sulekha after a couple more and Red is waiting to feast on it per se.
So until next time here's Appu and Red saying adios (ä'de-os'). Keep those pencils sharpened and ink up those pens. But please don't poke too hard, go gentle on the insults.

BB,
You are absolutely right about the hurrying thing. There was a lot going on this past week for me. But I intend to this no matter what, so there are no excuses when it comes to this. I usually compile stuff in the grey matter and then do a one sit writeup rather than following the drafting and editing pattern. But so that I do a better job next time I intend to spend a few moments everyday scouring through blogs for this series and penning down my thoughts on them.
Yeah this requires time and passion and on occassion I seem to lack both LOL. Thank you so much for being blatantly honest and catching my faux-paus this week.
My grandma used to say and I quote her here A womans observant eye does not and should let anything slip by it LOL I have had first hand exp of it with you.
Expecting a more critical review next week, of this eBuzz I do know you donot like to be a critic but still.
I'm just getting started here. With time I hope to hone my skills.

hi red, you know i found your blog after i read the other.
it's so difficult to find blogs in this format.
it's so refreshing; i'd say it even if i get a thumbs down. just straightforward opinion, without bad language.
but somehow i thought this was writen in a hurry?

Spencer,
It not only you, a lot of us dont take crticism well. Yes on all accounts it should not be a personal attack or vendatta of any sorts. I am glad I take things well !!! LOL
Spence, spence spence....I dont know why there is such a hullaboo over the thumbs down section.
Folks on most counts want to hera nly praises or want us to turn a blind eye and keep mum. The person I have grown to be is because of folks telling me what I was doing wrong or where i could better myself. There is zero tolerance for criticism these days.
Kamalji does his thing too but he has not been the subjected to what I am going through because he chooses to recommend what he thinks in his opinion are some good or best of what he has read. Folks would not be mad now if I had done the same eh?
How hypocritical. Like I said to another known blogger here, if you truly deserve the thumbs down PER ME, then one would find themselves in that section. Friends or not, Sumban or not.
I dare someone else to do what I do. Have the courage to name me and post the url to my post and say that you dont like my post. Say what you donot like about the post instead of flinging dirt at me personally. Well thats not etiquette, thats just being vague and not wanting to stand behind what you are saying.
Its not like I know half the folks personally. I know their style and I read.
Dont be afraid of a little crticism. Mine is not a hate blog and i donot intend to make it one too.
hugs
red
